This week we have been on the countdown to Christmas. This hasn’t really meant much other than our normal rhythm has slightly adjusted and we’ve been cleaning and tidying the house and readying for family visiting.
Today is Christmas Eve and we have decorated the tree and been tidying. The children have finished their crib which they made themselves (I am mightily impressed) and the twinkling lights are strung across the beams. Our new house seems to have been built just for Christmas, it suits it. I don’t feel we have truly done it justice this year but that’s ok.
The tree is wonky and full of handmade baubles and Alice’s slightly un-festive black decorations but it is beautiful and I am very pleased with how it looks in our home and what it says about our family! Definitely not perfection, definitely full of love.
I will be signing off from the blog until the new year. But will be back with exciting news and all our plans for 2019. I wish you and your families a wonderful Christmas time. Thank you for following my family’s adventures!
